Biodiversity serves as the very foundation for the survival and prosperity of mankind. It’s critical for both the well-being of humanity and the health of our planet. Addressing biodiversity loss is a shared responsibility among governments, industries, and societies worldwide.
With the main theme of "Promoting Biodiversity Conservation through Energy Transition", the forum aims to explore solutions to biodiversity challenges through the perspectives of energy. The forum seeks to facilitate discussions on effective strategies for promoting biodiversity conservation via energy transition, sharing successful experiences, and fostering global collaboration towards biodiversity conservation and the sustainable utilization of biological resources. The forum is intended to gather and showcase the strategies and practical cases undertaken by relevant countries and enterprises to advance biodiversity conservation through energy transition. With these case studies, we hope to present exemplary practices to the world, while encompassing areas such as laws and regulations, policies, on-site protection, off-site conservation solutions, investment and finance, as well as publicity. Background
